Chaco Mission
The Anglican Church of Paraguay lives out its mission by proclaiming the Christian message, especially among the indigenous peoples of the Paraguayan Chaco, walking alongside them with respect and commitment. Its aim is to share the principles of Christianity not only as a spiritual teaching, but as a way of life that transforms individuals and communities. From the Gospel, it promotes values such as family, peace, justice, honesty, and care for others, seeking to contribute to building a more compassionate, just, and spiritually vibrant Paraguayan society.
How can I help?
The Anglican Church of Paraguay carries out its mission in the Paraguayan Chaco in partnership with the Church Mission Society (CMS), supporting and sustaining pastoral and community work in the region. Throughout the year, between 10 and 12 mission trips are undertaken, requiring significant logistical organization: the use of diocesan vehicles, travel expenses for the teams, and the provision of food for four base communities (Makxawaya, La Patria, El Estribo, and La Herencia). These efforts strengthen existing congregations and provide close support to representatives in the various villages. To ensure the continuation and growth of this mission, the Church invites all those who wish to contribute to supporting this work, which impacts lives and entire communities, through donations.
Donations can be made at any time of year to the diocesan office, located at General Santos corner of Avenida España, where they will be received and assigned to accompany the missionary and community work that the Church carries out in the Paraguayan Chaco.
